Hall Green Child Contact Centre at Church Hall

Child Contact Centres are volunteer based organisation accredited to a national association to provide safe, impartial and non-judgemental facilities for a child to meet an absent parent following the break up a marriage or relationship.There are 350 such centres in the UK and volunteers undergo a Criminal Record Enhanced check and training.Until now there were only 3 other centres in Birmingham but on 22nd October a centre opened at the church hall in School Road, Hall Green.The centre will be…See More

Birmingham Memories

Always enjoyed my visits to Birmingham, really nice  friendly people, used to pass through it  in the 1960s, changing buses at the Bull Ring Centre Bus Station to Dudley, Stratford etc, in the 1970s went to the Hippodrome, and The Shamrock in Birmingham, latterly it has been to the Ecopark, even stayed ther a couple of times, enjoyed a few pints of Brew XI on my way to the Central Library.Looking forward to coming back soon as I am fascinated by the IrishShowband scene, after London it was…

Birmingham and townsreunited

The ICC (one of Britains most famous conference centres) and the NIA (one of Britains biggest concert venues) stand almost side by side, minutes away from the pinnacle of Birmingham's night life (BroadStreet)

Actually, it was the Birmingham Conservation Trust (not the National Trust) who restored this courtyard of back-to- backs and then they handed it over to the National Trust.
